Getting stronger
Day by day, I am pushing myself to lift higher weights.
Four months back, I could only lift 2.5kg weights . One month back, I proceeded to do my reps with the 5kg dumbell.
Now, I am trying to include 7.5kg dumbell in my regular reps. This small addition of (+2.5)kg, filled me with confidence.
When I started gym, I made a mental note to not go beyond 2.5kg, since I had done some posture mistakes in my past and had a fear to break my lower spine.
As gym progressed, I understood the importance of posture and the gradual incremental process to go to next higher weight. I am still working on the art to engage the muscle being exercised. Steadily, I am feeling the right muscle and moving in the direction to build mind- muscle connection.
Key learning for myself is that anything from a distance seems impossible, but when the approach is right with regular efforts, then nothing is impossible.
