Morass or Mirage?

I am happy but confined.

Should I see my present-self looking at a mirage of upcoming successful times or in a morass?

Thinking turns into Overthinking, making efforts as beatings against the cage of time. I can't run in a desert for every turn creates more burns.

So, I have turned this morass into a mirage of my taste. Giving me the shade to prepare for that day, when I can set my wings free just like an albatross.

Even if my hands get dry powdery sands at the end, atleast I can appreciate the shine of ever-present yellow gemstone and find more new tastes!
